Silicon Valley hospitals, doctors expect to benefit from EHR push

The national effort to spur EHR adoption is expected to bring millions to hospitals and doctors in Silicon Valley. About 1,000 doctors at Stanford Hospital and Clinics alone are expected to qualify for individual stimulus incentives, a hospital executive said, adding, "We don't yet know the exact amount the hospital could receive, but it's enough money that it's a huge incentive for us."
