Supreme Court keeps Sarbanes-Oxley centerpiece intact

In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court said the executive branch should have more say over the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, created by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The court said the Securities and Exchange Commission must have authority to fire members of the board, including the chairman, to adhere to the Constitution's separation-of-power provision.
