SpiceJet is trying to arrange $270M loan to add new planes

SpiceJet has asked the Reserve Bank of India for permission to raise $270 million that will be used for expansion and aircraft acquisition. The money would come from the finance agency Export Development Canada. SpiceJet wants to be flying a fleet of 70 aircraft by 2013.
