Avantair's problems rise with pilot, worker furloughs

Problems have been mounting for fractional airline Avantair. This month, it grounded its fleet a second time for a safety review, and Wednesday it announced that it would be furloughing its pilots and workers and faces repossession of some of its airplanes. It is also the target of a class-action lawsuit filed in Oklahoma this week, which says that the company has failed to "adequately service" its customers.
