Chinese firm is charged with stealing U.S. trade secrets

A federal grand jury has indicted Chinese wind-turbine-maker Sinovel Wind Group on charges that it stole trade secrets from U.S. firm AMSC. The U.S. Justice Department said the loss of information cost AMSC $800 million. AMSC filed several lawsuits in China in 2011 accusing Sinovel of illegally using intellectual property.
