FCC will release 1900 MHz "H block" spectrum in 2014 auction

On Thursday, federal regulators approved an auction of 10 MHz of wireless spectrum in the 1900 MHz band next year. The Federal Communications Commission approved the sale for commercial services of the 1915-1920MHz and 1995-2000MHz frequencies and established technical rules designed to prevent interference with adjoining wireless signals.
