Leaders in Iraq would welcome assistance from the U.S. to resist spillover violence from the Syrian civil war, says Ali al-Moussawi, media adviser for Iraqi prime minister Nouri al-Maliki. Bombs in and around Baghdad on Thursday killed 16 people and wounded dozens.
