La. district may reconsider ban on corporal punishment

A Louisiana parish has opened the door to possibly reauthorizing corporal punishment in schools, saying it will ask school administrators for input. A school board member raised the issue recently after being asked why the discipline policy -- last revised in 2010 -- no longer allows for corporal punishment.
