U.S. ranks 7th in developed countries for usage of EMRs

Providers in the U.S. have a low rate of EMR use compared with those in other developed countries, according to a ranking based on data from Health Affairs. The U.S. was seventh in this list with 69% of doctors using EMRs last year. Tied in the top spot were Norway and the Netherlands, both at 98%.
