Hotels taking room service to a tastier level

As hotels push the extremes in extravagance, once-mediocre room service meals are taking on upper-crust elegance. Some hotels, such as the Ritz-Carlton and Peninsula hotels in Chicago, offer a full restaurant experience, and the city's Four Seasons even gets children in on the act with an "ice cream man" promotion. "It's a hotel's job to give guests what they want when they want it and to give them a chance to wind down and relax," a spokesman for W Hotels in Chicago said.
