Analysts see a midpriced sweet spot for Motorola handsets

Motorola's pending line of Android-based smartphones may not approach the breakout success of its Razr line, but the handset maker can find profit with devices aimed at the mid-to-low end of the market, analysts said. The company will try to set itself apart from rivals by offering unique mobile services through customized software geared to consumer, enterprise and government users, analysts said. Relatedly, Motorola said its new iDEN Clutch i465 would launch with Nextel instead of Boost Mobile and add push-to-talk features.
