CDC officials said a possible swine flu vaccination campaign to be launched in the next few months might involve 600 million doses, anticipating that children and some adults younger than 50 might need two shots. The health authorities said they have not formulated a strategy for administering the vaccines simultaneously or for tracking the side effects of a seasonal vaccine.
