Digital campaign takes top film prize at Cannes

Tribal DDB's campaign for Philips Electronics' new line of ultra-widescreen TV sets was focused on digital media, but it still managed to best more TV-centered campaigns to win the Film Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Advertising. The advertising shops behind President Barack Obama's winning campaign took home the Titanium and Integrated awards. Volkswagen was named Marketer of the Year.
