Illinois lawmaker targets airline baggage policies

Rep. Dan Lipinski, D-Ill., says he may introduce legislation to cap airline fees for checked luggage. The three-term congressman already has sponsored legislation that could force airlines to compensate passengers for delayed bags and require the TSA to enforce standardized limits on carry-on luggage. Airlines argue that baggage policies should be set by individual carriers.
