Chains plan to feed the weary summer travelers

Americans plan to take to the roads this summer in about the same numbers as last year and a majority say they'll seek out less expensive dining options while on vacation, according to a study. Restaurants including Cracker Barrel and Denny's, each of which have a significant presence along the nation's highways, say they expect business to perk up this season as consumers give in to pent-up urges to treat themselves.
