Ex-bankers buy into the restaurant business

Former bankers are finding new careers running quickservice restaurants, spurred by market uncertainties to invest their cash in something more solid than stocks. Some, such as 24-year commercial banker Duane Clark, who now runs two Tropical Smoothie Cafes in Florida, find their previous experience working with restaurant clients pays off in a deep knowledge of the industry.
