The Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission is poised to question Gary D. Cohn, the No. 2 executive at Goldman Sachs. The panel is interested in learning more about the role derivatives played in the financial crisis. The FCIC is expected to throw some challenging questions at Cohn regarding Goldman's exposure to American International Group. Joseph J. Cassano, former head of the AIG division that nearly took the company down, also is scheduled to appear before the FCIC.
