TransCanada may offer equity stake in Alaska pipeline project

TransCanada is prepared to offer equity shares in its $41 billion Alaska pipeline to project rival Denali, but there have been no discussions between the two, said executive Tony Palmer. His statement came after a report that Denali partners BP and ConocoPhillips were in early talks to take part in TransCanada's venture.
