Engineers and scientists in New Zealand hope to provide better understanding about building design in an analysis they will release today of how buildings fared in the New Zealand earthquakes. The analysis could be a springboard to help builders choose what types of structural design, techniques and construction methods can be used to improve the resilience of critical infrastructure.
