WGN America's "Salem" is first step to becoming a cable net

Tribune hopes to use the breakout success of the original series "Salem" to convert WGN America from a superstation into a cable network over the next 18 months. The channel reaches as many as 80 million Nielsen homes and is "fraught with opportunity," said Tribune CEO Peter Liguori.
