Whole Foods becomes first major organic chain

Each of Whole Foods' 140 stores has received organic certification, making it the first major grocery chain to certify all of its stores. Several independent health food stores have been certified and Whole Foods' competitor, Wild Oats Markets, is considering certification for its coffee and juice bars.
