Chicago Teachers Union election declared null and void

Citing significant ballot discrepancies and possible fraud, a canvassing committee of the Chicago Teachers Union invalidated the June 11 runoff election, in which Marilyn Stewart appeared to have defeated incumbent president Deborah Lynch. The committee plans to hold a new runoff, possibly this fall.
