Georgia rescinds alcohol by volume limitations

Beginning tomorrow, beer drinkers in Georgia will be able to purchase beer with more than 6% alcohol by volume. The higher-alcohol beers -- up to 14% alcohol by volume -- will enter pubs, microbreweries and restaurants and are not expected to push other beers, such as Bud Light, off the convenience store shelves, a report says.
