Michelin to offer $12 million to fans over Grand Prix imbroglio

After a design flaw in its tires forced Michelin Tire Co. to advise its drivers not to compete at the June 19 Formula One U.S. Grand Prix race, the tire company is offering the more than 100,000 disappointed attendees a full refund on their tickets, the average price of which was $100.
