Bush delays Medicare fee cut for doctors

The Bush administration said Monday that it is freezing a scheduled 10.6% fee cut for doctors who treat Medicare patients to allow Congress to act to prevent the cut after the holiday recess. CMS will hold providers' Medicare claims for services performed today or later, a spokesman said.
