Bush freezes Medicare cuts for medical providers

The Bush administration said Monday it is freezing a scheduled 10% fee cut for medical providers who treat Medicare patients to allow Congress to act to prevent the cuts following the July Fourth recess. CMS will hold providers' Medicare claims for services performed on or after July 1, an HHS spokesman said.
