Law allows Vermont farmers to increase raw-milk sales

Vermont farmers can now sell up to 50 quarts of raw milk each day and can advertise the product, according to a change in state law. The popularity of raw milk has reportedly grown in the area even though the FDA warns that the product can contain harmful bacteria. "Raw milk is inherently dangerous and it should not be consumed by anyone at any time for any purpose," said an FDA spokesman.
