MDS under pressure to sell Nordion unit

Obrem Capital Management is urging MDS to sell several of its units, including MDS Nordion, which makes medical isotopes. The hedge fund believes Nordion would sell for around $1 billion. "We believe that any uncertainties surrounding MDS Nordion can be resolved as a stand-alone company," Obrem said, and MDS issued no comment.
