Online ad spend to surpass $43B in 2013

Overall online ad spending this year is projected to grow by just under 20% as compared to 2007, to reach $23.8 billion, and to total $43.4 billion by 2013, according to JupiterResearch. That's a compound annual growth rate of 13%, vs. 4% for non-digital ads in the same time span. Jupiter also estimates the online segment's share will increase from an expected 9.6% this year to 14.3% in 2013.
