FDA advisers urge ban on painkillers Percocet, Vicodin

A panel of FDA advisers voted 20-17 to recommend banning Percocet and Vicodin, two prescription painkillers that contain acetaminophen, because of their link to liver damage. A spokeswoman for Vicodin maker Abbott Laboratories said the company will follow the FDA's final decision.
