State Department advises against travel to Honduras

Citing the "current unstable political and security situation" and the Honduran military's ousting of President Manuel Zelaya, the U.S. State Department is warning U.S. citizens about the dangers of traveling in the Central American nation. "There have been regular demonstrations at the presidential palace in central Tegucigalpa, and streets in the vicinity of many government offices are blocked by police or military," the statement said.
