Chinese bank looks to expand U.S. presence through big CRE loans

In an effort to expand its footprint in the U.S. market, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China is instituting a lending program that targets U.S. real estate developers and owners seeking loans in excess of $100 million. China's government owns 70 percent of the bank, which is calculating the commercial real estate market has hit its bottom, thus limiting its risk.
