Colorado golf club goes green

The private Harmony Club near Fort Collins, Colo., is eschewing synthetic fertilizers for more natural substances including microbes and compost in a bid to build soil and save money on upkeep. "Healthy soil helps build plant immune systems. This is my fourth growing season, and we haven't had one disease outbreak," says owner Byron Collins.
