Former AIG exec Cassano defends his actions and "prudent" decisions

Joseph Cassano, head of the division that nearly brought down American International Group, defended his actions and decisions before the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission. Cassano said he didn't misjudge the subprime-mortgage risk in deals his unit entered while he was head of the division. He also said taxpayers would have been in a better position if he had remained.
