Gemalto to acquire Cinterion Wireless

Gemalto has signed a deal for Germany's Cinterion Wireless Modules for about $200 million as it works to expand its presence in the machine-to-machine market, the companies announced. Cinterion, which spun off of Siemens in 2008, supplies software, hardware and remote services to mobile-network operators.
