UK might need banks' consent to release stress-test results:

The UK Financial Services Authority cannot legally disclose detailed results of banks' stress tests without the consent of the lenders, according to the decade-old Financial Services and Markets Act. "Like it or not, the UK legislative framework puts substantial restrictions on the FSA," said Bob Penn, a lawyer at Allen & Overy. "Ultimately, you can't help but think that this will be a question for individual banks."
