ASU gifted academy to offer full-time accelerated curriculum

The Gary K. Herberger Young Scholars Academy at Arizona State University is set to open its doors this fall with a unique program serving 40 middle-school students who are gifted. The five-year program allows students to complete grades 7-12, as well as the equivalent of a freshman year in college, earning both an enhanced high-school diploma and automatic admission into ASU's Honors College.
