Private pilot Maria Weybrecht founded the nonprofit Kids in Flight to give seriously ill children a taste of flight. Weybrecht, who had cancer at 19, organized an event on Saturday at the Burke Lakefront Airport in Ohio. Nine pilots volunteered to give children rides in their aircraft.
