R.I. governor expected to sign civil unions bill

The Rhode Island Legislature passed on Wednesday a civil unions bill containing religious exemptions that some say go too far in allowing certain entities to discriminate against gay and lesbian couples. Still, many marriage equality opponents saw passage of the measure as a defeat. Gov. Lincoln Chafee is expected to sign the bill even though he doesn't favor the religious exemption language. "Sometimes you don't get it all," said Chafee.
