Miss. principal-training program expands

The University of Mississippi is expanding its principal-training program to include all regions of the state. The 15 teachers selected each year for the Principal Corps program each complete two internships with a principal, take courses over two summers and spend one weekend a month on the university campus. "Principals and superintendents know that when you leave here, you are prepared," said Hank Bounds, commissioner of Institutions of Higher Learning.
