Opposition to McCarthy nomination becomes more vocal

President Barack Obama's climate speech last week, which included plans to tighten coal emissions and power plant regulations, may have led to increased Republican opposition to Environmental Protection Agency nominee Gina McCarthy. "She has recently reported to the Senate that the things the president is talking about [Tuesday] are things she has known nothing about," said Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo.
