Technology a fashion statement in stealth wear

Reflective, metallic fabric such as that used in gear for firefighters is now a fashion statement in designs by Adam Harvey, a design professor at the School of Visual Arts. Harvey's hoodies, cloaks and the like are intended to reduce the wearer's thermal footprint as a kind of stealth wear to thwart surveillance. Some designs also incorporate extra bright LEDs triggered by the flash of an unwanted photographer.
