Mont. district boosts incentive packages to attract teachers

The Montana school district on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation is trying to fix its teacher shortage by offering new hires subsidized rent on a home to live in, a signing bonus and assistance with student loan payments. The district has faced a chronic shortage of teachers in such areas as English, math and special education.
