Report: 80% of marketers measure their social marketing

The effectiveness of social media marketing is being measured by 80% of U.S. marketers, with "likes" and click-thrus the most popular metrics, according to a report from Ipsos OTX and the Association of National Advertisers. Metrics aligned with broader business operations were among the least used, however, with just 23% of respondents measuring return on investment and 24% measuring sales.
