Chicago union rivals at impasse over who takes office

Incumbent Chicago Teachers Union head Deborah Lynch has changed the locks at the union offices to bar Marilyn Stewart, who won a June 11 runoff election recently invalidated by a union committee due to alleged ballot irregularities, from entering the building. Stewart maintains she was duly elected and has vowed to take office this morning.
