Canada to allow Internet pharmacies to continue

Canada's health minister said that while he wants to stop bulk exports of prescription drugs to the U.S. he does not intend to halt Internet drug sales and will work to find a compromise that allows the Internet pharmacy business to continue while protecting the country's drug supply. A spokesman for Internet drug sellers, who had been expecting a crackdown on their business, said the announcement by Minister Ujjal Dosanjh was "a very positive surprise."
