Delaware defeats bill to regulate stem cell research

Delaware legislators rejected a proposal to regulate stem cell research at the state level, but supporters are expected to mount a new effort next year. The Delaware House voted overwhelmingly against the proposal after an amendment was offered that caused concern about the continued ability to conduct embryonic stem cell research.
