Orix plans to triple Japanese real estate investment

Orix plans to triple its investments in Japanese real estate operations to $2.8 billion this year. Real estate transactions in Japan have slowed as credit offered to smaller companies has dried up. Orix plans to invest in office and condominium buildings in Tokyo and large regional cities such as Osaka and Nagoya.
