Sloe gin fizz: You've heard of it, but have you tried it?

Sloe gin fizz is mentioned in a country song and in a play by Tennessee Williams -- just to name a couple of instances -- but few people have tasted the cocktail. It is traditionally made with lemon juice, sloe gin, sugar and soda water, and served in a highball glass.
