Mobile businesses see M&A activity when others don't

There was little merger-and-acquisition activity during the first half of this year, unless you look at companies dealing with mobile technologies, Peter Kafka writes. According to The Jordan, Edmiston Group, the volume of M&As among businesses having something to do with wireless was up 45% over the previous year, with a 38% increase in the value of those deals.
